Egg Fried rice

Ingredients:

  1. Rice 3 cups
  2. Oil 1/4 cup
  3. Egg 3
  4. Spring onion (green part chopped) 1 cup
  5. Carrot  (chopped)1 cup
  6. Cabbage (chopped) 1 cup
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Chicken powder 1 tsp.
  9. Soy sauce 4 tbsp.
  10. Food color a pinch

Method:

  1. Soak rice in water for half an hour.
  2. Now boil the rice in salted water till cooked.
  3. Drain and leave aside.
  4. Whisk eggs with salt and a little yellow food color.
  5. Heat oil in a pan.
  6. Fry and scramble the  eggs.
  7. Add  spring onion, cabbage, carrots and mix well.
  8. Then add boiled rice,chicken powder, soy sauce  stir.
  9. Serve hot with any gravy sauce.
