- Maida 1 cup
- Salt 1 tsp.
- Cumin seeds (zeera) 1/2 tsp.
- Carom seeds (ajwain) 1/4 tsp
- Oil 2 tbsp.
- Water to make dough
- Sieve together flour and salt.
- Mix in oil, carom seeds, and cumin seeds.
- Knead with water into a medium dough.
- cover and leave it for 1 hour.
- Roll it thin in round shaped chappati.
- Cut in small diamond shapes.
- Heat oil in a wok.
- Deep fry in oil.
- Cool and keep in air tight container.
