Mince beef with potatoes (Aloo keema)


Ingredients:

  1. Mince beef or mutton 1 kg.
  2. Onions (sliced) 2
  3. Tomatoes (sliced) 3
  4. Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp.
  5. Green chilies 6
  6. Red chili powder 1 1/2 tsp.
  7. Coriander powder 1 tsp.
  8. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp.
  9. Salt 1 1/2 tsp.
  10. Potatoes 3
  11. Coriander (chopped) 2 tbsp.
  12. Oil 3/4 cup

Method:

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add onions and fry till golden brown.
  • Add mince meat,ginger garlic paste,red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt.
  • Mix cover and cook till the water dries.
  • Add tomatoes.
  • When the tomatoes gets soft add potatoes.
  • Cover and cook on low flame for 15 minutes.
  • Add green chilies and coriander leaves.
  • Cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Take it out in a dish serve with paratha, chappati, bread or kichri.
