Chicken Fries


  1. Boneless chicken breast 1/2 kg.
  2. Egg 1
  3. Milk 1 cup
  4. Garlic powder 1 1/2 tsp.
  5. All purpose flour (maida) 1 cup
  6. Bread crumbs 1 cup
  7. Salt 1 1/2 tsp.
  8. Baking powder 1 tsp.
  9. Oil for frying


  • Cut the chicken into strips.
  • Mix egg,milk,1/2 tsp salt and garlic powder together.
  • Add chicken.
  • Coat with the mixture and refrigerate for 2-4 hours.
  • Take out the chicken from the marinade.
  • In a bowl combine the flour, bread crumbs,1 tsp. salt and baking powder.
  • Add chicken to it.
  • Toss to coat.
  • Heat oil in a wok.
  • Fry the chicken in batches for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown on both sides.
  • Take them out on paper towels.
  • Serve with tomato ketchup or any sauce.
