Spring rolls


Ingredients:

  1. Cabbage (shredded) 1 cup
  2. Carrots (shredded) 1/2  cup
  3. Capsicums (thin sliced lengthwise) 1/2 cup
  4. Garlic (chopped) 1 tsp.
  5. Black pepper 1/2 tsp.
  6. Chicken powder 1/2 tsp.
  7. Soy sauce 1 tbsp.
  8. Oil 1 tbsp.
  9. Roll wraps
  10. Flour (dissolved in little water to make paste) 2 tbsp.
  11. Oil for deep frying

Method:

  • Heat oil in a wok or frying pan.
  • Add garlic fry for few seconds.
  • Then add cabbage, carrots and capsicum fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add black pepper, chicken powder and soy sauce (no salt needed if we are putting chicken powder if you are not  then add 1/2 tsp. of salt).
  • Mix an cook for another 1 minutes.
  • Filling is ready.
  • Close the fire and keep aside to cool.

  • Put about 1 tbsp. filling in the center of the wrapper.

  • Fold the left and right sides of wrapper over filling.

  • Roll to the other end.

  • Secure the roll by flour paste wetting the end,pasting it shut.

  • Heat oil in a wok.
  • Deep fry rolls on medium heat till golden brown.
  • Serve with soy sauce.
