Chicken Boneless Handi


Ingredients:

  1. Boneless chicken (cut into cubes) 1/2 kg.
  2. Onions (chopped) 1
  3. Tomatoes (chopped) 5
  4. Yogurt 2 tbsp.
  5. Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp.
  6. Cumin seeds 1 tsp.
  7. Red chili powder 1 tsp.
  8. Coriander powder 1 tsp.
  9. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp.
  10. Salt 1 1/2 tsp.
  11. All spice powder (garam masala powder) 1/2 tsp.
  12. Black pepper crushed 1 tsp.
  13. Dry fenugreek 1 tbsp.
  14. Fresh cream 1 cup
  15. Oil 1/2 cup
  16. Fresh coriander 2 tbsp.
  17. Green chilies (roughly chopped) 3
  18. Ginger (cut thin lengthwise) 1 tbsp.

Method:

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add chicken and ginger garlic paste.
  • Fry till gets white.
  • Take out in a dish and keep aside.
  • In the same pan add onions and fry till light brown.
  • Put tomatoes and cook till soft.
  • Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder.
  • Mix and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Add fried chicken and salt.
  • Cook till water dries and oil separates.
  • Now add yogurt, mix and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Add black pepper powder, all spice powder, dry fenugreek, fresh coriander, chopped green chilies and ginger.
  • Mix and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • Pour fresh cream on top.
  • Mix, cook for 1 minute and close the heat.
  • Take out in a handi.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander.
  • Serve hot with naan.
