Roasted cumin raita (Zeera raita)


Ingredients:

  1. Yogurt 2 cups
  2. Whole coriander 1 tsp.
  3. Whole cumin seeds 1 tsp.
  4. Red chili powder 1/4 tsp.
  5. Chat masala 1/2 tsp.
  6. Salt 1/2 tsp.

Method:

  • Roast whole coriander and cumin seeds together till aroma arises.
  • Crushed them in a blender.
  • Whisk yogurt.
  • Add 1/2 tsp. of roasted crushed coriander and cumin, red chili powder, chat masala and salt.
  • Mix and sprinkle little crushed coriander and cumin on top.
  • Serve.
