Green chicken curry


Ingredients:

  1. Chicken 1 kg.
  2. Onions (chopped) 4
  3. Yogurt 1 cup
  4. Whole coriander 1 tbsp.
  5. Cumin seeds 1 1/2 tsp.
  6. Whole black pepper 1 tsp.
  7. Cloves 1/2 tsp.
  8. Salt 1 1/2 tsp.
  9. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp.
  10. Oil 1/2 cup
  11. Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp.
  12. Fresh coriander 1 bunch
  13. Green chillies 6-8
  14. Whole red chillies 6
  15. Lemon juice 4 tbsp.

Method:

  • Grind whole coriander, whole black pepper, cloves and cumin seeds together.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add onions and fry till light brown.
  • Put chicken, ginger garlic paste, grinded masala, whole red chillies, turmeric powder and salt.
  • Mix, cover and cook for 15 minutes on medium heat.
  • Add yogurt and cook for another 15 minutes.
  • Grind green chillies and fresh coriander with lemon juice.
  • Add it to the chicken.
  • Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Take out in a serving dish.
  • Serve with naan and boiled rice.
