Aloo ki tarkari


Ingredients:

  1. Potatoes ( cut in small pieces) 6
  2. Potatoes (boiled and mashed) 2
  3. Oil 2 tbsp.
  4. Red chili powder 1 1/2 tsp.
  5. Salt 1 1/2 tsp.
  6. Cumin seeds 1 tsp.
  7. Whole coriander 1 tsp.
  8. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp.
  9. Black onion seeds (kalonji) 1/2 tsp.
  10. Green chillies (chopped) 2
  11. Fresh coriander 1 tsp.

Method:

  • In a pan put potatoes, oil, red chilli powder, salt, cumin seeds, whole corriander, turmeric powder, black onion seeds, green chillies, fresh coriander and 3 cups water.
  • Cook till the potatoes are soft.
  • Add mashed potatoes and cook till it gets thick.
  • Take out in a dish and serve with kachori or poori.
