Vermicelli Squares


  1. Vermicelli 1pkt. or 150g.
  2. Cardamons 2
  3. Sugar 1 1/2 tbsp.
  4. Sweet condensed milk 1/2 can
  5. Full cream milk 1 1/2  cup
  6. Oil or ghee 3 tbsp.
  7. Almonds for garnishing


  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add the vermicelli and stir until its almost golden brown in colour.
  • Remove from fire.
  • Add milk, sugar, condensed milk and cardamons.
  • Put pan back on fire and stir until the milk dries up.
  • Pour into a greased  glass container.
  • Sprinkle almonds on top.
  • Allow to cool.
  • Cut into square.
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream or fresh cream.
