Fresh Beans with Potatoes (Hara Lobia with Aloo)


Ingredients:

  1. Fresh beans 1 kg.
  2. Onions (sliced) 2
  3. Tomatoes (sliced) 4
  4. Potatoes (cut into 8 pieces) 3
  5. Red chilli powder 1 tsp.
  6. Turmeric 1/4 tsp.
  7. Salt 1 tsp.
  8.  Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp.
  9. Green chillies 4-6
  10. Oil 3 tbsp.
  11. Fresh coriander 2 tbsp.

Method:

  • Deseed the fresh beans.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add onions and fry till gets light brown.
  • Put beans, pototoes, tomatoes, red chilli powder, turmeric, cumin seeds and salt.
  • Stir, cover and cook for 25-30 minutes or till the tomatoes are soft and water dries.
  • Add green chillies and fresh coriander.
  • Cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Take out in a dish and serve with chappati or boiled rice.
