Chicken Pepper Sauce

Ingredients for marination:

  1. Boneless chicken breast (cut in thin slices) 1/2 kg.
  2. Corn flour 1 tsp.
  3. Light soy sauce 1 tbsp.
  4. Egg white 1 tbsp.
  5. Sesame seed oil 1 tsp.
Ingredients for sauce:
  1. Ginger (chopped) 1/2 tsp.
  2. Garlic (chopped) 1/2 tsp.
  3. Dark soy sauce 2 tbsp.
  4. Chicken powder 1/2 tsp.
  5. Oil 3 tbsp.
  6. Capsicums (cut into diced pieces) 2
  7. Black pepper crushed 1 tsp.
  8. Chicken stock 2 cups
  9. Corn flour 1 tbsp.


  • Marinade the chicken with corn flour, egg white, sesame seed oil and light soy sauce for 10-15 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a wok.
  • Add marinated chicken and fry till done.
  • Take out the chicken from the wok leaving oil.
  • Put capsicums and fry for few seconds.
  • Take them out in a plate.
  • In the same oil add ginger and garlic.
  • Fry for few seconds.
  • In a bowl mix together chicken stock, corn flour, chicken powder and dark soy sauce.
  • Pour it in the wok.
  • When it gets thick add fried chicken and capsicums.
  • Sprinkle crushed black pepper on top.
  • Cook for 2 minutes.
  • Take out in a dish and serve with egg fried rice or boiled noodles.
