Ingredients for marination:
- Chicken (cut in small diced pieces) 1/2 kg.
- Sesame seed oil 1 tsp.
- Light soy sauce 1 tsp.
- Corn flour 1 tsp.
Ingredients for sauce:
- Straw mushrooms (cut into half) 1 can
- Corn flour 1 tbsp.
- White pepper 1/2 tsp.
- Dark soy sauce 2 tbsp.
- Chilli sauce 1 tbsp.
- Chicken powder 1/2 tsp.
- Chicken stock 2 cups
- Garlic (chopped) 1 tsp.
- Oil 2 tbsp.
Method:
- Marinade the chicken with light soy sauce, corn flour and sesame seed oil.
- Leave for 10 minutes.
- Heat oil in a wok.
- Add garlic and fry for few seconds.
- Put marinated chicken.
- Fry till it changes colour and gets white.
- In a bowl take chicken stock, dark soy sauce, chicken powder, chilli sauce and cornflour.
- Mix them together.
- Pour on the chicken.
- Cook till it gets thick.
- Take out in a serving dish.
- Serve with rice or noodles.
