Ingredients for Kadhi:
- Yogurt 2 cups
- Salt 1 1/2 tsp.
- Gram flour (Besan) 2 tbsp.
- Turmeric 1/4 tsp.
- Ginger paste 1/2 tsp.
- Green chillies 4
- Fresh coriander 2 tbsp.
Ingredients for Baghar:
- Oil 2 tbsp.
- Cumin 1/4 tsp.
- Curry leaves few
- Mustard seeds 1/4 tsp.
Method:
- In a bowl take yogurt.
- Put turmeric, salt and gram flour.
- Mix well.
- Put 2 cups water and again mix.
- Grind together ginger, fresh coriander and green chillies.
- In a pan put the yogurt mixture.
- Cook on high heat, stirring till it starts to boil.
- Add grinded green masala and lower the heat.
- Cook on low heat for 30 minutes or till the khadi gets thick.
- Heat oil in a frying pan.
- Add mustard seeds, cumin and curry leaves.
- Fry for few seconds.
- Pour on top of Kadhi and serve.
